ASP Recognition Awards
The Society presents multiple awards annually to recognize individuals who have made outstanding contributions in primatology. The committees which oversee these awards encourage ASP members to nominate deserving individuals. Distinguished Primatologist Award
The Distinguished Primatologist Award honors a primatologist who has had an outstanding career and made significant contributions to the field.

Emerging Conservationist Award
This award supports students and investigators from habitat countries who demonstrate potential for making significant and continuing contributions to primate conservation.
Deadline: March 31
Early Career Achievement Award
This award acknowledges exceptional work by beginning scientists who are within 7 years of earning a PhD.

Special Recognition/Achievement Award
This award is given sporadically to deserving individuals for exceptional service to the Society on a one-time or short-term basis.

Distinguished Service Award
This award is given sporadically to deserving individuals who have contributed long-term service to the Society.

Senior Research Award
This award honors individuals who have made significant contributions to research activities in primatology.

Kyes Award for Excellence in Educational Outreach
This award is given to an ASP member in recognition of a long history of excellence in primatology outreach.
